“Another bug puts competitive at risk” So ranked is not coming with patch 1.02.
Brief Intro: Valorant is a free 5v5 character-based tactical first person shooter game developed by Riot games playable on PC. It was fully released on June 2, 2020. It is a team-based tactical game. Player can control agents with special tacticle powers to eleminate players of oponent team. This game is getting very famous since its release and is played by many pro-gamers.
Patch 1.02 was major update with which we are expected to get back the competitive ranked play. The recent tweet reveals that beta testers while testing the ranked, found a new bug because of which the ranked play is delayed. So we have to wait for a few more days before we play competitive ranked.
The ranked was expected to come up with the 1.02 updated yesterday. But as the update appear, there was no ranked in the game. The reason told us was that there are some bugs in the game like Player occationally spawning in opponent’s team, and players were able to use ghost mode also known as no clip with which players fly through the map.
According to the tweet, the developers are trying to fix the bug which might take 1 or 2 days, but we might have to wait a little longer if thing did not go well.
