Warner Bros might be planning to reveal a new Batman and Suicide Squad game on the DC Fandome in August
Warner Bros might be planning to reveal a new Batman game along with a Suicide Squad game. We know that the company will be showing off new games at the DC Fandome digital event on August 22nd. Some of the newly-registered domains found by a ResetEra user DriftingOrbit tells of a game called “Gotham Knights” and a Suicide Squad game.
The domains and registrations do not mention Warner Bros anywhere, but as another user points out in the same thread, registrar MarkMonitor Inc is most likely the company that WB hired to manage its domains (since they are also the holders of wbgames.com). Those first two URLs are quite self-explanatory, but the URL about killing the Justice League is quite mysterious.
Kotaku reported back in March 2020 that WB had been planning to announce a new Batman game and Rocksteady’s next project at E3. Considering WB Montreal (the studio that developed Arkham Origins) has been teasing a new Batman, it’s safe to say that the Gotham Knights is their new project. What’s more exciting is that it also suggests that Rocksteady is behind the new Suicide Squad game.
Nothing is certain for now. We will have to wait till DC’s Fandome digital event on August 22nd for official announcements and details.
